Hop down some old Kent roads

Start at Kent Motorcycles, Barham and finish at H’s Café, Barham

  1. After fuelling up with a quick cuppa and a mars bar, hop onto the A260 towards the coast until you hit the A20.
  2. Take the A20 through Dover then the A258 up through Deal as far as Stone Cross.
  3. Once you get to the junction with the A256, head towards Ramsgate before taking the A299 past Herne Bay as far as Boughton then it’s back onto the A2 and home to Kent Motorcycles.

Start and finish at Maidstone services on the M20, allow yourself three hours.

    Please contact us us if there is an ride you would like us to feature.

  1. Hop onto the coast-bound A20, passing through the villages of Harrietsham, Lenham and Charing.
  2. On entering Ashford, look out for signs for Brenzett (A2070).
  3. Take the A2070 as far as Brenzett, then get onto the A259 towards Hythe.
  4. Head back towards Ashford, first for a short stint on the A261, then on the A20.
  5. Follow signs for Canterbury then take the A28 until you see signs for Chilham, when you need to take the A252 as far as Challock.
  6. From there it’s onto the A251 to Faversham then onto the A2 towards Sittingbourne.
  7. Stay on the A2 until you reach the A249 and head back towards Maidstone. Once you hit the M20 it’s just one junction back to the services where your journey began.

Take in East Kent and Thanet before enjoying a bacon butty at H’s Cafe

Start and finish at Kent Motorcycles on the A2 near Barham. Allow three hours.


A great route which takes you down through the Weald and West Kent

Start at M20 Services, Maidstone. Finish at the Oakdene Café. Allow two hours.

  1. Head down past Leeds Castle and through Leeds village until you get to Chart Sutton, where you need to join the A274 and head for Headcorn.
  2. Stay on the A274 through Biddenden then get onto the A28 towards Tenterden.
  3. Get onto the A268 and head towards Hawkhurst before taking the A21 towards Tunbridge Wells.
  4. When you reach Pembury, jump onto the B216 through Paddock Wood to the Hop Farm, where you’ll join the A228.
  5. Two roundabouts later, you want to take the third exit, sign-posted Wateringbbury and Maidstone (B2015). This will take you through the villages of Nettlestead, Wateringbury and East Malling until you arrive at the A20 at Leybourne.
  6. From here it’s just a ten minute cruise down the A20, past West Malling down to Wrotham and a well-earned fry-up at the Oakdene.
